Full Movies On Youtube

Here’s a list of pretty decent movies you can find on youtube. Some of them, like When Harry Met Sally, Rain Man, Saving Private Ryan, and Pearl Habor, are Oscar winning movies that you have absolutely got to watch.

1. When Harry Met Sally

This is easily one of my favourite romantic comedies, like ever. This isn’t just decent, it’s terrific. The relationship between the two co-stars progress from hate to friendship, back to hate, and finally to love, and the process is hilarious, entertaining, meaningful, poignant, touching, and ultimately extremely rewarding.  A definite must. If you don’t believe me, this is what the film review site, Rotten Tomatoes, says about it: “Rob Reiner’s touching, funny film set a new standard for romantic comedies, and he was ably abetted by the sharp interplay between Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan.” This movie is incredible. Nominated for an Oscar, and 13 other awards, winning 4 of them, like the BAFTA award for best original screenplay.

2. Rain man

In my opinion, one of Tom Cruise’s best movies. It’s a stunning tribute to brotherly love and autism. It is both extremely funny, and tear-jerkingly poignant. It also has Tom Cruise in it, which is a pretty compelling reason. A beautiful movie that gets you thinking about life and what’s really important. Rain Man won Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Director, and Best Writing, Original Screenplay.

3. Pearl Habor

Okay, granted- it doesn’t have the most researched plot in the world, it’s way too pro-American (it is an American movie) and it might not have portrayed what really happened in Pearl Habor. It did attract frenzied criticism from critics. But on the other hand, it was a massive box office hit, raking in an impressive total of $449,220,945 worldwide, and it was even nominated for four oscars, winning the award for Sound Editing. Believe me, the soundtrack is really good. It is one of the most epic love sagas of all time, rivalling even that of the Titanic. Basically, if you’re annoyed by it not being ‘true’ to Pearl Habor, or just don’t like watching missiles explode all the time, just skip all the huge explosions and military planning parts, and you’ll be fine. On a slightly unrelated sidenote, I never really realized just how handsome Ben Affleck is until I watched this movie, and I’ve never gotten over it since.

4. Saving Private Ryan

Another acclaimed war movie that was nominated for 57 awards and won 55 of them, including 5 oscars. According to ImDB, it’s the 41st best movie ever to have been produced. And yes, that’s right, it’s up on youtube, as miraculously impossible as that sounds.

5. Men In Black and Men In Black II

Now that Men In Black 3 is coming out in cinemas soon, you should take this chance to catch the first two films if you haven’t already done so- they are all conveniently on youtube.

(Men In Black)

(Men In Black 2)

6. Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe

The first movie that sparked off a huge, money earning adaptation of the Narnia books, this movie is a must-watch if you’re a fan of fantasy and magical worlds. An imaginative wonder with a marvellous plot.

7. If Only

Another romance movie that’s well, pretty good, at very least. It’s about a man who learns to cherish his wife/girlfriend (I forgot, sorry) and their beautiful last day together. It’s tragic.

8. Pink Panther 2

This movie, is absolutely hilarious. That’s HILARIOUS in all caps. It will have you in stitches, guaranteed.

9. Home Alone 4

I grew up with the Home Alone series. It would also come in really handy if ever find yourself in such a circumstance (a.k.a. facing an extremely untalented house-breaker)
