The final installment of the series The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel was definitely not a let down. It is, as all last books should be, fast-paced, action packed, and chocked full of epic battles to the death.

You might think this is some kind of Hunger Games rip off but it isn’t. Well yes, they both feature spunky redheads who run about shooting arrows, but really- Brave is almost nothing like the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a haunting, disturbing take on humanity, while Brave is a typical Disney feel-good movie with great visuals and insanely cute characters. It’s an ode to mothers that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside (and wishing you had little triplet brothers who turned into bears for a day).
